Industry-driven recovery of peptide ingredients

WP aims:

  • Isolation of new ingredients (single small molecular weight peptides of  smaller than 15 kDa, or combination of small molecular weight peptides) by different separation technologies (Task 3.1). Sequencing of the isolated peptides having new or improved bioactivity.
  • Modification processes will be applied to isolated peptide fractions to enhance their bioactivity. Spray drying and encapsulation (PGSS) will be the preferred technologies in this context of future applications (Task 3.2).
